Alright, so not to start brag fest, but....
I started working at Acaydia School of Aesthetics at the beginning of the month of March. My position was "Day Receptionist" and my list of duties were the usual... making bank deposits in the morning, answering phone calls, booking appointments, making copies of student worksheets, etc.
However a few days ago my boss payed my a huge compliment by telling me that I was doing such a good job I got to pick a product off the shelf to keep. Hooray, considering we have some expensive stuff! Like that wasn't enough, the next day she called me into her office for a meeting. She increased my pay by 2 dollars more an hour and changed my title to the Asisstant Spa Manager... woah. I've been here at this job for a month and a half, and I couldn't be more grateful.
I'm happy to report that things finally feel like they are falling into place, and if you had asked me 6 months ago if this is where I'd be, I probably would've laughed.
I'm so incredibly grateful for this job, and excited to take on a lot more responsibilities like being in charge of inventory and helping students pass skills off (and the fact that I get free treatments is always a plus...).
It's always a plus to see family members and friends come in and get treatments done at about half the price of what you pay at a normal day spa (but the facility is just as nice) so if anyone ever wants to come in and have something done, message me and I can give you the details.
Hooray for me! Look out world, here I come!

Easter Dresses
I can't believe that the first week of April is already over! This year is cruising by...
This week I'm excited for:
Curtis Allred coming home from his mission! Flowers to start blooming, the plum trees to start growing those beautiful pink and red blossoms, for the sun to be shining and actually be WARM!, for my photography skills to improve, tax returns, a good job and an even better boss, seeing PK and his mop of hair, paychecks!, American Fork canyon to open up soon, camping, Midway next weekend with my boys!, Minus the Bear concert, and much much more.
This week I'm grateful for:
Forgiveness, the chance to start over, John Carden, my sister Kelly for being protective, sisters-night-out, fabulous shoes, budgeting, urbanoutfitters.com (although I probably shouldn't be grateful, they will be taking the majority of my money...), a healthy body, Victoria's Secret panties, the band Midlake for getting me through the week, the Minolta camera, my boys for taking good care of me, Cap'n Crunch milkshakes from Carl's Jr., La Dolce Vita's chicken parmesean & Italian sodas, Sister Act, the O.C. season 3, last episode. Manicures, Acaydia school of Aesthetics.
