Poetry

Here are some of the poems that I've written. I'm not very quick to share these with people, so if you have harsh criticism please keep it to yourself... ha ha. :) Otherwise, enjoy.

1.
i'll paint your name on this
demure little sky. beautiful &
twinkling smile. a canvas of the
cosmos. your supernova cocoon.
a rebirth.
give me a meteor to suck on
a while, a content little telescope.
forget the asteroids & questions.
we'll watch the sun set from
our crater.

2.
oh luxurious marrow, deep within my bones
where is your heart? in my hands.
& so we dance and delight in the fountain,
your hands going over my face, fingertip-to-lip.
tears on your chest put you father inside me
than making love ever could

wipe your tears with my hair, i don't care anymore.
kiss out your devils. kiss them into me, my mouth
is wide open. accepting them
understanding them.
wrap me up in you. push me, press me
as close to you as you can.

3.
his body is of the earth, he is clay & soil & rock & tree,
purely strength beyond his knowledge.
a flower is forced to bloom for the sun,
& he is my sun.
energy. light. clouds can only temporarily retain it.
EVERY MOVEMENT of his body feels lasting.
the rocks that he climbs around. i may be his boulder
for a day.. hands stretching & grasping, he sighs
for a perfect hold for his hand. hands & mouth
caressing breast & ridge. i may be his boulder.
not a wall. not in his way, merely something for him to
conquer.
to feel.
steady. alone. harsh.
for him.

4.
ode to a beautiful sadness, filled up
simply with rain water. oh, that i were
the pavement runoff, so feeling of everything
yet lacking vitals. pain & breaking experienced.
oh ode to the beautiful rain, the cold so
milky on our little toes, just a price to pay to feel.
nothing but a midnight hour, your face still
charming after tire & my fatigued words.
what a headache. not beautiful like rain, i
am beautiful like the asphalt, a crooked grin
to see you smile. slightly damaged. how i must drag & wear,
wronged by example! no. hard rain wears, not
this gentle kind. this is simply a dull reminder,
ebbing at our throats & our feet that june gets
cold too. but rain will still kiss the asphalt
like a miracle. the same miracle that keeps
you kissing me.

5.
damn the seductive aphrodite, putting her
power between our legs. you contrast!
your gentle face, swollen lips, sad eyes,
soft cheeks, yet body built for complete
power. to tie me down. to
hurt me. to eat me alive & bury me
inside you. but your gentle face earns you
a place within me, our powers connect, are
we gods? joyous & jealous dwellers of
the heavens? for a time. then crash back
down, where we belong. cold house, slow dancing
to something sentimental.
