Confession: this blogsite was basically created to get Megan off my back about it... I brought her to Myspace, she brought me to Google Blogspot. And in all honesty, I believed she was the only one that read it. Interestingly enough, I found out on Thanksgiving that this is NOT the case. So what could I say that my extended family and friends might want to know about me that they don't already?
Here is the update.
John and I are no longer "technically" dating. I hate telling people this so let me explain this once: we broke up for a legitimate reason. It's for the best. I think I speak for both of us when I say we love each other very much. He's going to be serving a mission for the LDS church next year and so he's preparing for that. We both are hoping the best for our future together, and who knows what it will bring. Every week is something different, we've been riding a very long and overwhelming rollercoaster together but things are looking up for us. Thanks for your love and concern and support through all of this.
I'm working at Gandolfos (STILL!!!!) and no, in my defense, I am NOT a traitor to the Tenney's Sports Deli! Kevin is great, but PG definitely is way more convenient than Saratoga Springs. The deli however is driving me crazy, and even MY hardly-existent feminine side is beginning to cry about the smell and the hygiene. Lord knows we serve great food, but sorry... I'm getting a little old to be serving the sophomores from PGHS breakfast every morning. I'm basically a mother... "Johnny doesn't like bacon, he wants sausage." "Suzie wants her eggs scrambled." Seriously, a shout-out to the parents of Pleasant Grove... PLEASE BUY YOUR KIDS A BOX OF CAP'N CRUNCH!!!!!! Really, if they didn't bring so much business, I'd call the truancy cop in a heartbeat. That or take a box of eggs out to do some damage to their lifted trucks (puke).
My latest obsession (and possibly downfall) is amazon.com. Megan has always talked about the good deals that she's gotten from the site but DANG! I'm spending my money way too fast on movies, books, and cd's. Within the past week I've bought The O.C. season 1 (ok, so I'm off the hook for agreeing how stupid the new Stephanie Meyer series is but give me a break, we're allotted one guilty pleasure, right?) Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Patrick Park's older album (which is highly recommended), Kill Bill 1 & 2 box set for only 19.99!! (what a steal), and I was able to pre-order 3:10 to Yuma, which was phenomenal. Shoot guys, I've gotta stop.
I did some digging up in my dad's closet in his office and found his old Minolta camera. John and I went up dry canyon a few weeks ago to take some pictures, I'll post some of the pictures once they're developed. I'm very interested in photography, and very amateur. Perhaps is not modeling I should go into, but rather be on the other side: taking high fashion pictures. We'll see.
Anyway, that's enough talking about myself. I love you all, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and I also hope everyone is as excited for upcoming christmas as I am! Wahoo!

Kiersten!!
I had taken you off of my links because I figured you were done with the blogging world. To my utter surprise I stumbled upon your page again, just to check, and was pleasantly surprised with a wonderful long post! Those Tenneys must have given you ALOT of crap at Thanksgiving! haha Thanks for the update, you are so funny. You are such a great writer just like Megan, I'm jealous!
p.s. I think Kevin is okay with you working at Gandolfos! haha
OK...who was giving you crap? I am just wondering who actually reads these things? (I just found out Ann apparently does...)
