Congratulations to... Myself.

Alright, so not to start brag fest, but....

I started working at Acaydia School of Aesthetics at the beginning of the month of March. My position was "Day Receptionist" and my list of duties were the usual... making bank deposits in the morning, answering phone calls, booking appointments, making copies of student worksheets, etc.
However a few days ago my boss payed my a huge compliment by telling me that I was doing such a good job I got to pick a product off the shelf to keep. Hooray, considering we have some expensive stuff! Like that wasn't enough, the next day she called me into her office for a meeting. She increased my pay by 2 dollars more an hour and changed my title to the Asisstant Spa Manager... woah. I've been here at this job for a month and a half, and I couldn't be more grateful.
I'm happy to report that things finally feel like they are falling into place, and if you had asked me 6 months ago if this is where I'd be, I probably would've laughed.

I'm so incredibly grateful for this job, and excited to take on a lot more responsibilities like being in charge of inventory and helping students pass skills off (and the fact that I get free treatments is always a plus...).

It's always a plus to see family members and friends come in and get treatments done at about half the price of what you pay at a normal day spa (but the facility is just as nice) so if anyone ever wants to come in and have something done, message me and I can give you the details.

Hooray for me! Look out world, here I come!

Kudos to you! I am SO proud of my little sis! You are doing so well, and I'm so glad you were able to find something that you love. Keep up the good work, and maybe now you can start taking ME out to dinner :)
